Natalia Viktorovna Lareva graduated with honors from Chita State Medical Academy in 1995. After graduation she took up a clinical internship in Therapy at the Department of Faculty Therapy at ChSMA. Between 1998 and 2005 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Faculty Therapy. Since 2005 to the present, she has been the head of the Department of Therapy at the Faculty of Additional Professional Education (until 2020 – the Department of Therapy of Faculty of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of Specialists). Since 2009 to the present – Natalia V. Lareva has been Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation.
In 2002, she successfully defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 14.00.16 "Pathological Physiology" under the title: "Some pathogenetic mechanisms of heart failure in patients with hypertension." In 2006, Natalia Viktorovna recieved the highest qualification category of a general practitioner. In 2008, she defended her doctoral thesis in the same specialty on the topic: "Pathogenetic mechanisms of cardiovascular disorders in postmenopause". In 2013, she was awarded the academic title of professor.
Since 2009, she has been a deputy editor-in-chief of the scientific and practical journal "Transbaikalian Medical Journal" and the electronic scientific journal "Transbaikalian Medical Bulletin", which is included in the list of journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation (VAK).
She has more than 350 scientific publications, including four monographs, 10 textbooks in various areas of therapy, more than 60 articles included in international citation databases, four certificates for computer programs, and two certificates for databases.
Under N.V. Lareva one doctoral thesis by A.A. Zhilina and five candidate dissertations by A.S. Kurupanova, E.S. Guseva, T.V. Valova., A.A. Zhilina, Z.M. Zhigula have been completed and defended.
She was awarded Chita Region Special Merit Award for professional activities in 2006, the Certificate of Honor from the Chita Region in 2008, related to the 55th anniversary of Chita State Medical Academy, the Certificate of Honor from the Chita Regional Duma in 2008, the Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 2013, and the badge “Excellence in Healthcare” in 2018.
