Предметом исследования явилось изучение основ применения ROC-анализа, позволяющего определить и сравнить основные показатели информативности изучаемых диагностических методов или тестов. Темой исследования явилось применение ROC-анализа в биомедицинских исследованиях. Целью работы явилось описание алгоритма применения ROC-анализа в биомедицинских исследованиях с помощью пакета программ SPSS.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Проведен научный обзор возможностей применения ROC-анализа в биомедицинских исследованиях. Практические основы применения ROC-анализа для определения чувствительности и специфичности изучаемых диагностических методов или тестов рассмотрены на примере пакета программ «IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25.0» (International Business Machines Corporation, США).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Определен оптимальный алгоритм применения ROC-анализа в биомедицинских исследованиях. Подробно описаны возможности применения ROC-анализа в программе SPSS, даны рекомендации по интерпретации полученных результатов анализа.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Использование описанного алгоритма применения ROC-анализа позволит повысить уровень представления результатов биомедицинских исследований.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>The aim of the research</title><p>The aim of the research. The subject of the research was to study the basics of using ROC curve analysis, which allows to determine and compare the main indicators of information content of the studied diagnostic methods or tests. The research’s topic was ROC curve analysis in biomedical research. The aim of the study was to describe the ROC curve analysis algorithm in biomedical research using the SPSS software package.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The scientific review of the possibilities of using ROC curve analysis in biomedical research is carried out. The practical basics of using ROC curve analysis to determine the sensitivity and specificity of the studied diagnostic methods or tests are considered on the example of the IBM SPSS Statistics Version 25.0 software package (International Business Machines Corporation, USA).</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The optimal algorithm for ROC curve analysis application in biomedical research have been determined. The possibilities of ROC curve analysis using in the SPSS program are described in detail, recommendations for the interpretation of the obtained analysis results are given.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
