Пациенты, страдающие от ХОБЛ, имеют более высокий риск развития дисфункции щитовидной железы по сравнению с общей популяцией, что подтверждается эпидемиологическими исследованиями. Данная коморбидность недостаточно хорошо изучена, а её диагностика может вызывать затруднение из-за совместного отягощения и наслоения клинических симптомов, при этом указанное сочетание заболеваний может серьезно ухудшать качество жизни пациентов. Изучение того, как дисфункция щитовидной железы связана с хронической обструктивной болезнью легких, может положительно повлиять на прогноз для пациентов. В обзоре анализируются возможные механизмы и клинические характеристики, возникающие при коморбидном течении ХОБЛ и дисфункции щитовидной железы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and endocrinological conditions, such as thyroid dysfunction, are both associated with chronic inflammation. Epidemiological studies have shown that patients with COPD have a higher risk for developing thyroid dysfunction compared to the general population. This comorbidity has not been well studied, and its diagnosis can be difficult due to the combined burden and layering of clinical symptoms, while this combination of the disease can seriously worsen the quality of life of patients. Understanding the relationship between thyroid dysfunction and COPD can help improve the clinical prognosis in these patients.
